I think he is a useless officer. Should I get rid of him? Unfortunately, they have not taken the obvious course of dismissing him under Clause 7
of the Colonial Regulations, as he is entitled to pay up to the date of dismissal
but has suspended him under the proviso made in less aggravated cases
